A first-person dungeon roguelike about swordplay, elemental chaos and a very, very special book.

A hundred years ago, the monks of the Order of the Quiet Quill wrote a work that made even statues blush.

The Church declared it heresy and walled it up at the bottom of the dungeons.

They say whoever reads the "Great Manuscript of Brotherly Bonds" will grasp the true nature of male friendship.

You are going down to get it.

- Directional melee. Swing where you move the mouse: left, right, overhead or thrust. Block the side the enemy strikes from - block at the last moment to parry and stagger them.

- Two hands. A main weapon in the right hand, a dagger in the left. Sword, axe, war pick, mace, rondel and long dagger - each one is better against gambeson, mail, plate or bones.

- Kick, hand cannon, tricks. Kick down doors and break guards. A hand cannon that kills in one shot - if you can hit anything with it. Two slots for small tricks: fire, lightning, frost, gust, splash, wisp, blink.

- Surfaces that react. Set oil on fire. Electrify a puddle full of knights. Throw fire into water for blinding steam, into acid for armor-eating fumes. Freeze water into ice and watch enemies slip.

- 12 procedural floors. Flooded catacombs, old mines, alchemists' labs and the depths. Locked vaults, lockpicking minigame, portals, a camp with a merchant every three floors.

- A bestiary that gets nastier. Crossbowmen, censor monks, acid slimes, zombies, drakelings that spit their element, assassins that blink behind you, a mage that hypnotizes you and inverts your controls - and the Recluse Archivist guarding the book.

- Collect the torn pages of the Manuscript between runs. Each one unlocks new loot - and reveals a little more of the story.

- Everything — graphics, sounds, levels — is generated by code.
